In January-May Ukraine exported 7.37 million tons of ferrous metals valued at $3.378 billion.

According to the State Fiscal Service, the ferrous metals export share was 19.6% of the total volume in money terms.

In particular Ukraine exported 2.6 million tons of carbon steel semi-finished products valued at $978.57 million. The main importers were Italy ($285.13 million, 29.1% of the total volume), Turkey ($187.11 million, 19.1%) and Egypt ($127.5 million, 13%). The share of the products in the total volume of exports was 5.7%.

Ukraine also exported 2.062 million tons of carbon flat-rolled steel valued at $1.006 billion, 1.078 million tons of rods valued at $445.13 million, 368.84 thousand tons of ferroalloys valued at $430.82 million, 737.389 thousand tons steel-making pig iron ($219.12 million), 229.97 thousand tons of sections ($114.74 million) and 101.86 thousand tons of scrap ($21.58 million).

In May Ukraine exported $737.99 million worth of ferrous metals.

In January-May exports of ferrous metal wares reached $333.57 million, with $71.33 million exported in May. (Ukrainian metal)
