In May Ukrainian metal companies received 280 thousand tons of scrap, or 100% of the need.
In April they received 290 thousand tons of scrap, or 95% of their need.
In January-May 1.3 million tons of scrap were delivered to metal works, up by 9% YoY, and 85% of the need.
In May scrap stocks decreased by 15 thousand tons, to 100 thousand tons.
Scrap exports in May increased by 9 thousand tons MoM, to 36 thousand tons. In January-May 102 thousand tons of scrap were exported (207 thousand tons in January-May 2016).
