ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih is carrying out construction of coking batteries No. 5 and 6.
At present the construction of the battery No. 5 is underway.
The construction will last for 7-9 months.
At the same time the assembly work is being carried out at the coking battery No. 6 to prepare it to reach its project capacity.
AMKR investments in the project are $128 million, and together with battery No. 5 construction – $170 million.
The company intends to start producing 1.06 million tons of 6% moisture coke per year, pollution will decrease by 1.6 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
