In January-April Ukraine decreased coking coal output by 19.4% YoY, to 2.3 million tons.
According to the Ministry of energy and coal industry, power-generating coal output went up by 1.1%, to 10.8 million tons.
All in all in 4 months Ukraine mined 13.1 million tons of coal, down by 3.2% YoY.
As of May 1, the ministry-managed enterprises stocked 2 million tons of coal, down by 26.9% YoY, or by 738.7 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
