In January-March Russia imported 282.8 thousand tons of coated flat rolled metal, up by 9.6% YoY. This is also the highest imports volume for the last 4 years.

Galvanized steel accounted for 58% of the imports, polymer-coated rolled metal – for 25.6%, the rest was tin-plate.

The main supplier is Kazakhstan (44.3%, up by 60.5% YoY), followed by China (18.6%, down by 18%), Ukraine (11.4%, up by 54.3%) and South Korea (10%, up by 10.4%). (Ukrainian metal)
