Rusal has put into operation a new autoclave battery at Ural Aluminum Works. Investments totaled 1.1 billion rubles.
The new battery will allow UAZ to increase alumina output by 130 thousand tons, to 900 thousand tons per year.
The machinery will improve the safety of the manufacturing process and increase energy efficiency, resulting in the alumina prime cost decrease. (Ukrainian metal)
