In January Russia exported 237.3 thousand tons of aluminum, up by 1.1% YoY.
According to the Federal Customs Service, raw aluminum exports to far foreign countries remained unchanged – 230.8 thousand tons, while that to CIS grew by 75.7%, to 6.5 thousand tons.
In monetary terms raw aluminum exports increased by 25.5% YoY, to $388.6 million, including by 24%, to $376.7 million, to far foreign countries and 2-fold, to $11.9 million, to CIS. (Ukrainian metal)
