Metinvest-PromService LLC, created on the basis of the repair subdivisions of Azovstal, Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works, all parts of Metinvest, announced of its decision to open a subsidiary in Zaporozhye to service local assets.
According to the company CEO Mikhail Rubtsov, because of the railroad blockade the metal companies suffer from the shortage of raw materials and there are risks that they will not be able to meet their manufacturing targets for 2017. Under such circumstances the repairmen get more orders.
“At present Metinvest-PromService is completely loaded. We carry out most of the Metinvest repairs”, Rubtsov said.
The company repairmen are working on Mariupol Ilyich, Azovstal and Zaporizhstal sites, as well as fixing rolling stock for Severniy, Central and Ingulets GOKs.
“We have firm views for the future. Last year we opened our first subsidiary at Azovstal, and the second in Kriviy Rih, which employs over 1 thousand people”, Rubtsov noted.
The third subsidiary will be opened at Zaporizhstal and will include 4 repair shops of the works. (Ukrainian metal)
