Geologists of the Magadan region have discovered a gold field with resources amounting to several dozen tons, a regional division of geological exploration company Rosgeo, also known as Rusgeology, said in a report on March 16.
The newly discovered Khulgannakhskaya block is located 102 kilometers off the Omchak village, where the nearest Matrosov mine is located. The distance from the Susuman city stands at 110 kilometers. A local road is 14 kilometers away from the new deposit.
Rosgeo said that all works were to be completed until the end of 2017, the final appraisal of the resources would be done this year as well. (Ukrainian metal)
