Enterprises of DTEK private energy holding located on the territory of Donbass temporarily uncontrolled by Ukrainian authorities have been working and will work within the framework of Ukrainian legislation, DTEK Director General Maksym Timchenko said.
“The company has been working and will continue to work exclusively within the framework of Ukrainian legislation,” he said.
According to him, DTEK enterprises on the territories beyond Kyiv control are currently working in normal mode, no changes in their management have occurred.
Timchenko stressed that the current blockade was a serious blow to the economy in the energy and in the metallurgical industry.
“This is a huge blow to the investment climate. It is very difficult to invite investors and to persuade them to risk their money in the country where there is no rule of law,” the DTEK director general said. (Interfax/Ukrainian metal)
