In January industrial output in Ukraine increased by 5.6% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Service, processing industry showed the largest increase – by 9.9%, while mining industry growth was the lowest – by 0.3%.
In particular, metal output increased by 8.5% YoY, rubber and plastic wares – by 20.3%, machine-building – by 16.1%, textiles – by 13%, wood – by 7.3%.
At the same time a drop of 8.9% was registered in chemical industry, 7% in coke and by-product coke, and 4.2% in electric equipment. (Ukrainian metal)
