In 2016 Ukraine imported 933,408 tons of anthracite valued at $68.663 million, which is equal to average price of $73.60 per ton.
According to the State Statistics Service, 566,721 tons of anthracite for $45.769 million ($80.80 per ton) were imported from Russia and 366,659 tons for $22.88 million ($62.40 per ton) from South Africa.
In 2016 Ukraine cut imports of anthracite by 13.2% YoY and by 54.6% compared to 2014 (2.054 million tons). (Interfax/Ukrainian metal)
