In 2016 Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant, a part of Russian Copper Company, produced 122180.612 tons of copper cathodes, the record high result in the history of the company. The increase has been achieved thanks to the Karabashmed copper deliveries growth.

The plant also produced 93729.629 tons of copper wire rods, or 21% of all the copper wire rod produced in Russia.

In 2017 KMEZ intends to keep output on the high level. (Ukrainian metal)
