According to Norilsk Nickel in 2017 it expects the nickel output to reach 206-211 thousand tons against 236 thousand tons in 2016. Copper output is expected to grow by 4.7-7.5% YoY, to 377-387 thousand tons.
Palladium output is forecast to total 2636-2732 thousand troy ounces against 2618 thousand troy ounces in 2016. A slight reduction of platinum output is expected – from 644 thousand troy ounces in 2016 to 581-645 thousand troy ounces in 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
