ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has estimated its losses in January-June from the cooperation with Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways) on the level of 217 million UAH.
“In 6 months we have lost 217 million UAH because of Ukrzaliznytsia. And Ukraine has lost 45 million UAH of taxes. Ukrzaliznytsia operation is damaging business”, the company CEO Paramjit Kahlon said.
According to him, the company experiences difficulties with shipping products due to the shortage of railroad cars. He also noted, that the work of the local Ukrzaliznytsia managers was not transparent enough. (Ukrainian metal)
