Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works, a part of Mechel, has started producing stainless wire. The first batches weighing 10 tons have already been supplied to local and foreign consumers.
The new wire is produced in cooperation with Izhstal works, which supplies AiSi 304 stainless steel.
The wire is intended to replace foreign analogues on the Russian market. (Ukrainian metal)
