Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has completed the capital repairs of its converter No. 2.
According to the company CEO Yuri Zinchenko, at the same time the gas-purifying machine was also reconstructed.
“Now the emissions will drop 3-fold, to 50 mg per cubic meter. The repairs lasted for 80 days, with investments hitting 230 million UAH”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
