Metal output in January-September decreased by 5.8% YoY, against the 6.5% increase in January-September 2015.
According to the National Statistic Service, ferromolybdenum output went up by 8.1% YoY, to 4614 tons, with 718 tons produced in September, up by 12% MoM.
Molybdenum concentrate production increased by 0.5% YoY, to 7970 tons, with 925 tons produced in September, up by 6.7% MoM. Molybdenum briquettes manufacture totaled 367 tons, down by 34.7% YoY.
Blister copper output grew by 13.7% YoY, to 9104 tons, with 1035 tons produced in September, down by 9.4% MoM. Copper concentrate manufacture increased by 31.8% YoY, to 293 thousand tons, with 35.5 thousand tons in September, up by 12.3% MoM.
Aluminum foil production decreased by 0.4% YoY, to 22143 tons, while September witnessed a 5.4% drop MoM, to 2207 tons.
Armenia produced 6147 tons of zinc concentrate, down by 33.9% YoY, with 931 tons in September, up by 14.4% MoM.
All metal produced in Armenia is exported, mostly to Europe and USA. (Ukrainian metal)
