Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Works has signed an agreement with Krakatau Steel to supply metallurgical equipment.
According to the company, the new equipment will be used at the section mill of the Chilegong Iron and Steel Works.
NKMZ has to engineer and produce 7 stands for the reconstruction of the section mill, produced by Danieli.
With the help of these stands the works will increase the section of its mill from 120×120 mm to 130×130 and 150×150 mm. The capacity will reach 160 thousand tons per year. All the equipment has to be supplied by May 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
