Abinsky Electrometallurgical Works is one of the largest steel producers on the Russian South. Its capacities reach 1.2 million tons per year.
The works is capable of producing 600 thousand tons of rebars and 500 thousand tons of low-carbon rolled wire. The rolled wire mill is the most advanced in Russia.
In late 2017 AEMZ plans to put a new wire shop into operation. It will produce low-carbon wire, galvanized wire and welding wire, with the total capacity of 60-65 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
