Vyksa Iron and Steel Works has started supplying large diameter pipes for the sea gas pipeline “North Stream-2”.

The first batch of pipes has been sent to Finland for concrete coating.

The pipes with 1153 mm inner diameter and 30.9 and 34.6 mm wall thickness with triple coating have been produced of SAWL 485 FD steel. Half of the pipes needed for the project will be produced of VMZ sheets.

All in all the company will produce over 730 km of pipes for North Stream-2. (Ukrainian metal)
