The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertisa forecasts the ferrous scrap procurement in 2016 on the level of 3.3-3.5 million tons.
In H1 Ukraine exported 233 thousand tons of scrap, in H2 after the export is unblocked due to the scrap export duties increase from 10 euro to 30 euro per ton, Ukraine will additionally export some 300-400 thousand tons.
In 2015 Ukraine exported $290.33 million worth of ferrous scrap with imports at $2.79 million. (Ukrainian metal)
