“Zaporozhkoks is a stably working company, employing some 1600 Zaporozhye citizens. Last year was a difficult one, but we were able to produce 800 thousand tons of blast furnace coke, earning some 4 billion UAH, and obtaining 250 million UAH of net profits. We have also paid 284 million UAH of taxes”, said the company CEO Vitaly Litovka.
This year Zaporozhkoks plans to spend 300 million UAH on modernization. Last year the company started the repair of its second coking battery, and in autumn it will be finished. The company will immediately get down to working on batteries No. 5 and 6.
Zaporozhkoks also plans to construct a new coking battery valued at $85 million. (Ukrainian metal)
