In January-May Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 1.08 million tons of rolled metal, up by 9.7% YoY.
According to the company statement, its steel smelting went up by 9.6% YoY, to 1.22 million tons, while pig iron output increased by 6.9%, to 1.51 million tons.
In May the works produced 237 thousand tons of rolled metal, 250 thousand tons of steel and 316 thousand tons of pig iron, as opposed to 228 thousand tons, 258 thousand tons and 299 thousand tons in April respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
