In January-May ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih produced 2.41 million tons of rolled metal, up by 6.1% YoY.
According to the company statement, steel smelting went up by 6%, to 2.73 million tons, while pig iron output increased by 12.6% YoY, to 2.56 million tons.
Sinter output rose by 10.2% YoY, to 4.48 million tons, that of iron ore – by 16.7%, to 412 thousand tons, of coke – by 10.4%, to 847 thousand tons. On the other hand iron ore concentrate production dropped by 2.1% YoY, to 4 million tons.
In May AMKR produced 509 thousand tons of rolled metal, 600 thousand tons of steel, 576 thousand tons of pig iron, 025 thousand tons of sinter, 176 thousand tons of coke, 89 thousand tons of iron ore and 707 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate. (Ukrainian metal)
