In January-May Ferrexpo plc, owner of Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works, produced 4.82 million tons of pellets, down by 1.2% YoY, but increased concentrate output by 3.1% YoY, to 6.11 million tons.
In May it produced 969 thousand tons of pellets and 1.25 million tons of concentrate. Output of pellets of the company own raw materials in January-May went up by 4% YoY, to 4.8 million tons, but dropped more than 10 times YoY, to 23 thousand tons, from that of purchased raw materials.
65% Fe content pellets output increased by 5% YoY, to 4.64 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
