Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works continues to operate only 1 blast furnace despite the absence of raw materials caused by the partial stop of railroad connections in the ATO zone.
“EMZ was not halted, it goes on operating its blast furnaces one at a time with low capacity. On average per day the works produces 1.8 thousand tons of pig iron (6.4 thousand tons in normal mode). If all goes well, and the works starts receiving raw materials, it will continue to operate at low capacity”, said the company press-service.
