Ceramet plans to invest 10.4 million UAH into the creation of its own scrap-procuring network in Poland.

“The company plans to increase its commercial activities and create its own scrap-procuring network in Poland on the basis of Keramet Polska Sp, a major scrap procurer and supplier of ISD Huta Czestochowa”, said Ceramet in its statement.

Because of the various obstacles (constant checks, limitations on activities, scrap export duty increase) the company decided against opening a scrap-procuring site in the Western Ukraine but work in Poland instead.

In 2015 Ceramet received 497 thousand UAH of net profits, having decreased its net income by 45% YoY, or by 918.32 million UAH, to 1121.61 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
