Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works is idle as it doesn’t receive raw materials and can’t supply products.
“Unfortunately, because of the absence of transport possibilities, the company is idle. All depends on the agreements between Ukraine, Ukrzaliznytsia and the subsidiaries of Donetsk railroads, which are now not operating”, said the AMK co-owner Sergey Taruta.
In early June several metal companies on the terrorists-controlled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions had to stop operation because of Donetsk railway workers’ strike, who stopped receiving salary from Ukrzaliznytsia. (Ukrainian metal)
