The head of Donetsk regional military-civilian administration Pavel Zhebrivsky wants to divide state mines into 3 categories on the basis of their profitability.
The mines that cannot be profitable have to be shut down.
“Mines that can be profitable fall into the second category. We will help them open new long faces, and will sell them. There are also mines that already bring profits. These will be managed by the state and will work for the development of the economy”, said Zhebrivsky.
According to his order, Novaya and Novgorodka-2 mine workers will receive humanitarian aid. Because of the mine restructuring miners haven’t been paid salary since the year start. (Ukrainian metal)
