Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works stands idle because of the absence of billets.
At the same time the works has orders for pipe manufacture. It just waits for the billets to start production.
In January-April DTZ produced 7.1 thousand tons of pipes, up by 73.2% YoY, with 2.4 thousand pipes in April.
In 2015 the works decreased its net income by 21.7% YoY, to 254.69 million, but its net losses went up by 54.8% YoY, to 152.98 million UAH.
Last year the company produced 11 thousand tons of pipes, down from 32 thousand tons in 2014. (Ukrainian metal)
