A special regime to control the origin of scrap metal sent for exports should be introduced in Ukraine for the period of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO), MP Serhiy Taruta has told reporters.
“I have information that industrial plants are being actively cut for scrap metal and this scrap is sent for exports via Ukraine. They destroy whole plants. The special regime to control the origin of scrap metal sent for exports should be introduced for the ATO period. The commission should include representatives of law enforcement agencies”, he said.
