The increase of the railroad tariffs has led to the increase of the ferronickel cost price at Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant.

“We carry transportation expenses, and this affects cost price. So the railroad tariff increase has hit the cost price”, said the company CEO Oleg Bespalov.

Prior to the increase the tariff was 118 UAH per ton, now it’s 138 UAH per ton.

“Where should we get these 20 UAH for hundred thousand tons of ferronickel?” asks he, adding that he can’t put expenses increase on the customers.

In 2015 PFK produced 92 thousand tons of ferronickel. (Ukrainian metal)
