The police have started investigating the decision of the Ministry of economical development and trade to register scrap export operations.
The investigation was started following the address of a people’s deputy where he said that the ministry had been giving out licenses even though the court had forbidden it.
The ministry was able to give out licenses for the export of almost 450 thousand tons of scrap: around 150 thousand tons on March 16, and 300 thousand tons more on March 24. (Ukrainian metal)
