In February Ukraine produced 1.97 million tons of steel, up by 1.7% MoM.
At the same time pig iron output decreased by 1.8% MoM, to 1.88 million tons, with rolled metal manufacture up by 10.1% MoM, to 1.78 million tons.
Average daily output in February reached 67.9 thousand tons, as opposed to 62.5 thousand tons in January.
In January-February Ukraine produced 3.9 million tons of steel, 3.8 million tons of pig iron and 3.4 million tons of rolled metal, up by 12.9%, 20.7% and 11.3% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian Metal)
