A Zaporozhye private company tried to export over 200 tons of ferrosilicon valued at 360 thousand UAH to Moldova. Export duty for this alloy is 0%.

The customs officers sampled the products and sent to laboratory for analysis. The check showed that the chemical composition of the products didn’t meet the requirements, and so the export duty had to be 15%.

All the products have been confiscated and the company penalized. (Ukrainian metal)
