In 2015 Ukraine exported 1.7 million tons of steel to Russia, down by 28.5% YoY and almost twice to 2011-2013.

Ukraine’s share in Russian imports last year rose to 38.2% from 27.7% in 2014, but was down from 43.8% in 2011-2013.

Bars and shapes accounted for 48.5% of the exports, down by 28.2% YoY.

Rebars share fell to 15.5% from almost a half in 2011-2013.

Flat rolled steel exports totaled 45.5%, with almost half of it being plates (up by 2.6%). Pipe exports fell by 58% YoY, with 5.9% share in the total volume. (Ukrainian metal)
