In 2015 Metinvest had to decrease its hot-rolled metal exports to Turkey due to the heavy dumping from Russian manufacturers.
“Turkey is one of the key markets for our company. But because of the heavy dumping by the Russians we had to decrease our deliveries”, said the company in its statement.
Russian manufacturers had to go to the Turkish market after the US market was closed for them. (Ukrainian metal)
