The State informational-analytical center Gosvneshinform says ferrous scrap prices will fall by $5 to $160 per ton FOB.
“The export price is around $165 per ton. It will decrease somewhat, by $5. But in January 2016 it might go up again. It all depends on rolled metal demand”, said the Gosvneshinform metal markets analysis department expert Vadim Odarenko.
In January-October Ukraine exported 1 million tons of ferrous metals scrap, in particular 721.5 thousand tons, or 71.8%, to Turkey. At the same time Ukraine imported only 2.2 thousand tons of scrap. (Ukrainian metal)
