In January-February Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after F. Dzerzhinsky (DMKD) produced 399 thousand tons of rolled metal, 366 thousand tons of steel and 347 thousand tons of pig iron, all down by 8.5%, 14.5% and 9.2% YoY respectively.
In 2014 Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works decreased its net losses by 59.2%, to 98.857 million UAH YoY.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has prolonged its resolution defining a list of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal, the transactions with which, in particular imports, are exempt from value added tax (VAT) until January 1, 2017.
