Velta has completely stopped its mining and processing capacities after the State Geology Service revoked its titanium raw materials mining license.
“According to the current legislation and the order of the state, we have to stop all our mining and processing capacities”, said the company general manager and co-owner Andrei Brodsky.
He added he knew not of the reasons for the revoking, but believed it had been done on behalf of a certain state-owned company, that had stocks of its own products.
“While we stock nothing – we sell all our products. That’s a simple competition”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
