Metallurgprom believes the optimal level for scrap export duty is 50 euro per ton.
If the state implements the duty on this level, the budget would receive 45 million euro, or around 1.12 billion UAH.
Thus the additional taxes from metal companies would total the most part of this amount (over 750 million UAH, or 225 UAH per ton of scrap), while the export share would reach only one third of all budget revenues. (Ukrainian metal)
