Beginning with October Interpipe raised salary for its employees by 10%. This is the second salary increase this year. The first was in April. In total wages increased by 20%.
This increase was made possible thanks to the company management who tried to stabilize the situation after the loss of the Russian market.
Now the average Interpipe salary is 6400 UAH, 48% more than in Ukraine.
“Today we have to fight to survive. We have to fight for clients on export markets, for raw materials, for cost price and competitiveness”, said the Interpipe CEO Oleg Rosenberg.
Interpipe is one of the largest regional employers – all of its companies employ 12 thousand people. (Ukrainian metal)
