Kharkiv Works of Material-Handling Equipment has supplied a claw crane to ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih.

According to the company statement, the crane has been tested and put to work in the blooming mill shop.

AMKR stated the cost of the claw crane was 1.2 million euro. The crane was made to order. Previously the company purchased such cranes from Russian suppliers.

The claw crane was purchased within the modernization program that will increase the shop productivity to 5.3 million tons of steel billets per year. (Ukrainian metal)
