Metinvest has finished repairing the railroad bridge over river Kalchik. The bridge, that connected Mariupol Ilyich and Azovstal Iron and Steel Works with the ports, was blown on December 23, 2014.
Metinvest started repairs this summer. The company expected the work to cost 12 million UAH, but it ended up at 16 million.
So far only one set of rails has been put on the bridge. The second set is being assembled. Ukrzaliznytsya (Ukrainian Railways) plans to complete repairs in early November. (Ukrainian metal)
