The Eurasian Economic Union intends to impose antidumping duties on Ukrainian wheels for railroad cars.
The 4.75% duty would be imposed for 5 years. Antidumping investigation has been extended till January 16, 2016. The investigation started a year ago, after the reports of Vyksun Iron and Steel Works and Evraz Nizhny Tagil Iron and Steel Works
According to EAEU, from 2011 to 2013 Ukraine’s supplies of railroad wheels increased 4.4 times, reaching 95.8% of total supplies in 2011-2013 and 97.1% in H1 2014. (Ukrainian metal)
