In January-August Ukraine imported $1121.34 million worth of anthracite and black coal, including $138.11 million in August.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the total volume of the imports in 8 months reached 9651.4 thousand tons of coal.
The major suppliers of coal in January-August were Russia ($498.77 million), USA ($304.05 million) and Australia ($89.07 million).
At the same time Ukraine exported 411.23 thousand tons of anthracite and black coal worth $37.77 million, including $2.1 million in August, with most of deliveries going to Slovakia. (Ukrainian metal)
