Azovstal Iron and Steel Works has started making a new product: gantry rails KR120.
The production is carried out according to DSTU 2484 and GOST 4121. These standards are applied to five types of gantry rails: KR70, KR80, KR100, KR120 and KR140.
Metinvest, the owner of Azovstal, produces rails KR70 and KR120. In future it plans to produce KR80 and KR100.
Consumers of the first batch of Azovstal’s new rails were the industrial companies of Metinvest. In October these products would be supplied to the local market and the CIS countries. (Ukrainian metal)
