Ternovskaya mine has put the new 342 long face into operation with capacity of 220 thousand tons of coal.
The daily yield is 1800 tons. The face has been put into operation some 3 months earlier than planned.
“So far our Mine Group has extracted 2.6 million tons of coal”, said the DTEK Pavlogradskoye Mine Group general manager Anatoly Demchenko.
To meet its annual coal requirement the group still has to mine 800 thousand tons of coal and put three new long faces into operation. (Ukrainian metal)
