Ukrainian thermal power station coal reserves grow daily by 20 thousand tons and have reached 1.6 million tons, said the energy and coal industry minister Vladimir Demchishyn.
“1.6 million tons is at least 250 thousand tons more than we had last year”, said he.
According to his words, by winter thermal power stations would have stocked up 2.5 million tons of coal.
At the same time electricity consumption this year decreased by 10%.
Coal companies of Pavlograd and Dobropolye stock 400 thousand tons of coal. Within a month it will be sent to the thermal power stations. (Ukrainian metal)
